New flight to Atlanta
From 26th October 2014, Virgin Atlantic will be operating one of Delta’s three daily flights from London Heathrow, direct to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
In return, Delta will also be operating one of two daily flights to Los Angeles, currently operated by Virgin Atlantic, marking the airline’s first nonstop flight between Los Angeles and London Heathrow.
Flying to Atlanta means Virgin will have their first-ever access to Delta’s Atlanta hub, the busiest airport in the world, providing expansive and unprecedented access for our customers, to connect to points throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
It means that Virgin can offer over 100 additional international and domestic connections to their customers, bringing the total number of onward connections available through this partnership to over 200.
